Kottori & Papas Enter the NEAAU Hall of Fame

On April 22nd at one our regionals biggest basketball tournaments, two of AAU's longtime supporters were honored for their dedication and contribution to AAU Basketball here in New England.

As Cox Sports braodcasted live from the 2012 NEAAU Boys Basketball Super Regionals, longtime director of the Boston Warriors Basketball Club Mark Papas was introduced by NEAAU Boys Basketball Chairperson John Kottori and inducted into the NEAAU Hall of Fame. Under Mark's direction, the Boston Warriors program and its players have enjoyed enormous success. Papas addressed his coaching staff, players and audience in attendance at the Super Regionals.

Following Papas' induction speech an unknowing second inductee was honored on April 22, 2012. Papas concluded his induction speech and then begin with the introduction and induction of the NEAAU's Boys Basketball Chairperson John Kottori. Kottori has long been the NEAAU's Boys Basketball Chairperson, as well as the director of the CMAC Hawks Basketball Club. Kottori's dedication to the game is umatched and the members of New England AAU Basketball are lucky to have his involved in the sport.
