NEAAU PRESIDENT INDUCTED into NEAAU HALL of FAME

Current New England AAU President and Baseball Chair, Ed Skovron, was inducted into the New England AAU Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Ed was inducted at the annual NEAAU Basebal League Meeting at the Dedham Hilton Hotel in Dedham, MA. Former NEAAU Baseball Board member John Roche and current NEAAU Boys Basketball Chair John Kottori mc'd the induction ceremony. NEAAU staff members and volunteers, as well as hundreds of AAU Baseball Coaches were in attendance.
Ed has been a volunteer with the New England AAU since 1991. He has served as a coach, club director, baseball chairperson and is currently serving his fourth term as President. Ed is also the National AAU Baseball and Softball Chairperson. Ed has committed countless hours to the youth athletes of New England and has lead the NEAAU to the third largest district in the country. The NEAAU is currently ranked #1 in baseball, boys basketball and girls basketball membership in the country.
The New England AAU thanks Ed Skovron for his leadership and commitment to youth sports. Much work is still to be done and the NEAAU staff under Ed's direction will continue to be the the most well run district in all of the AAU.
