HIT DR. DIAMONDS BLACK TAKE HOME 12U DIAMOND TITLE

When the 12U Hit Doctor Diamonds Black came together back in November, it was the first time most of these boys had played with each other.

After a winter of hard work, it was apparent that there was plenty of talent, but it took a bit to get them to gel as a team.

HDD Black split most double headers going 7-11 on the regular season.  Six of the 11 loses were by 1-run and three were extra innings, so the boys knew they could play with anyone.

Everything gelled once the boys dialed in their focus in the playoffs.  A deep pitching staff, stingy defense, and a fearsome batting
order top to bottom proved the difference en route to taking the NEAAU Diamond Division Title.  The boys went 6-0 beating some outstanding teams along the
way:
