A MONSTER CHAMPIONSHIP for 14U UXBRIDGE

The Uxbridge Green Monsters went 6 and 0 to complete a sweep of the 14U NEAAU Open Division Championship.  Led by an extremely deep pitching rotation, Monster pitchers Austin LaBastie, Jerette Hughes, Colin Fiorentino, Kyle Koller, Jake Taparausky, Gavin Bradbury, and Patrick Berthelette performed remarkably well allowing 13 runs over a combined 38 innings pitched.

Bolstered by outstanding play and game calling behind the dish by Sam Danis and Connor Byrnes, coupled with excellent defense by Travis Sims and Matt Boucher the Monsters kept opposing run totals down.  The Monsters hit the ball very well all weekend outscoring opponents 50 to 13. Overall the team played well in all phases of the game.
