13U BOSTON JR RAMS COMPETE & WIN BIG at AAU GRAND NATIONALS

The 13U Boston Jr. Rams went on a five game winning streak bringing them to the Championship game. On elimination Friday the Rams played four games on the day. The Rams started the day at 9:00 am with a victor over the Mass Pride 6-1 Then beat the Grayson Rams out of GA (the number one seed) 8-3 and got to the Championship game by beating another GA team the Wills Park Titan’s 10-8. The Rams eventually fell to the Orland Assault 5-4 with the last out coming at 1:15 am over 18 hrs after they arrived at the park. It was a long and successful day for the team.
It was a great trip at a beautiful complex. The tournament was held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Rams were rewarded by getting to play at Champion Stadium which is the Atlanta Braves training facility. This team is made up players from Malden, Middleton, North Reading, West Peabody, Peabody and Rockport.
