Twirling at the AAU Jr. Olympics in Virginia Beach is one of the best twirling experiences. There were so many twirlers, not only from our group, but from all over the United States. Watching everyone twirl was one of the best parts of the trip because you get to see different styles and new tricks you may have never seen before. But, the absolute best part of the whole trip is finding out how you placed. Many of the teams and soloist from the Belchertown Twirlers placed very well.
The feeling of knowing that all your hard work paid off is spectacular. Everyone comes together as a group to cheer eachother on and work together. Another highlight of the trip is all the close friendships that are created. Being with your teammates is so much fun, and your friendships grow. You also meet other twirlers from different places who you will never forget. The experience of being in Virginia is very memorable, but being there to twirl is what makes it. |
