  BILL COUGHLIN INDUCTED into NEAAU HOF

On Saturday May 23rd in Kingston, Rhode Island longtime AAU volunteer and contributor, Bill Coughlin, became just the second person inducted into the New England AAU Sports Hall of Fame. After coaching his RI Breakers at his popular girls college showcase, Commotion by the Ocean, NEAAU President Ed Skovron and NEAAU Girls Basketball Chair Ricky Oliver presented Bill with his hall of fame plaque.

Congratulations to Bill and thank you for your continued commitment to NEAAU Girls Basketball.

  WHAT is the NEAAU SPORTS HALL of FAME?

The New England AAU Sports Hall of Fame was created in 2009 to honor those members whom have contributed/dedicated their time, energy and passion to athletes/programs of the New England chapter of the Amateur Athletic Union.

The Boston Amateur Basketball Club's Leo Papile was inducted at the inaugural NEAAU Sports Hall of Fame Induction on April 19, 2009. 2010 Induction details will be released in early 2010.
