On June 14th 2008 in a thrilling game the New England Ruffnecks defeated the Worcester Heat 9-6 to capture the GOLD and win the Championship in the NEAAU 2008 14U Super Division Tournament. With 18 teams participating in our 2008 14U Super Division, the New England Ruffnecks entered the tournament as the 6th seed, and the Worcester Heat as the 9th. Congratulations to both teams and programs for their strong showing in 2008 at 14U!
14U Nor'Easters Improve to 14-2 Behind Risman's No Hit Performance

Nor’Easter right handed pitcher Adam Risman tossed a no hitter this weekend vs. division rival Legends Navy only allowing 3 players to reach base.With this 10-0 the Nor’Easters climb to 14-2 in AAU play and 16-3 Overall.Risman improves his record to 2-0 with 1 save.He also lowered his ERA to 0.88.Risman also had a strong weekend at the plate gong 2-3 including a double, improving his batting average to .362.Jake Mooney and Ryan Jann provided outstanding defense and Chad Gens continued to impress at the plate going 2-4 with 2 RBI’s putting his season total at 27.
